Mont d’Or, from the Haut Doubs region, is only made between the 15 August and 15 March, so catch it while you can!
A soft, spoon-served Jura cheese, it is matured initially on wooden boards and then bound with a spruce band and placed in a spruce box to finish its maturation. Our Mont d’Or is one of the last you can find that’s still made according to the traditional methods..
It can be spooned directly from its box, or placed in an oven at low heat and served after pouring a small glass of Jura wine over it.
Our Mont d’Or regularly wins prizes every year for its quality and unique taste.
