Marcaire is the french word for the herdsman who takes the cows up to graze on the rolling slopes of the Vosges once the warmer months come along

Ermitage Marcaire is an authentic cheese from Vosges, a reminder for all those who have been to the region, of the fermes-auberges and their delicious "repas marcaire", served to hikers walking across the green slopes and rocky peaks.

Ermitage Marcaire is a soft rind-wash cheese.


Soft and creamy, its caracteristic savor gives it its personality.

For snaking, on a slice of bread,  on the trays of cheese or on the manned cheese counters, it is a gourmet pleasure at any time of the day.

It is available in 200g and 500g formats in self-service or on the manned cheese counters.

Pasteurized milk cheese.
